Have you visited Mersea Island? We love it! East & west Mersea are connected to the mainland by the Strood. This is a causeway that can flood at high tide, so always check tide times whilst visiting. Boasting the beautiful multicoloured beach huts and week-long Regatta once a year, it is a fabulous place to stay.

There are a number of holiday parks on the island. Coopers Beach is where our static caravan is situated and it's available for rent. It has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. Tastefully decorated it has a large sitting room and separate kitchen/dining area, making this ideal as a 3rd bedroom (with pull-out sofa bed). A double room with en-suite and a twin bedroom. There is also a separate bathroom/shower room & an outdoor patio and garden area which gets the sunset. The park itself has a full entertainment facility, swimming pool, kids club etc.

Mersea island itself has many independent shops, pubs and restaurants making it perfect for families and couples alike. There is something for everyone and every budget.
